Bright Moments November Update

CryptoCitizens & Bright Moments Community –

After months of planning, Bright Moments Buenos Aires has wrapped.

Words can't describe the creative energy in Argentina. Luckily, they don't have to.

The must-watch recap:

video preview

In addition to minting the Buenos Aires Collection and our CryptoPatagonians, we continued our journey south to Patagonia with 0xDEAFBEEF. There, we gathered 50 collectors at the end of the world to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Hashmarks.

Heartfelt thanks to:

  • Our South American artists.
  • Our global community, for their unwavering support and patronage.
  • Over 50 local performers who elevated the CryptoPatagonian performance.
  • The production team behind the innovative analog minting machine.
  • Our partners, for educating about digital assets.
  • Our dedicated team and new friends.

These events take a lot to pull off, both mentally and physically. Fortunately they also give us energy. The Bright Moments community has never felt stronger than it does today, leaving Buenos Aires with the final two cities in our sights.

Next up: Paris.

Operations Update

In October we:

  • Finalized the production details for Bright Moments Buenos Aires.
  • Moved our team to Argentina while maintaining an ongoing presence in our local communities with events.
  • Minted our latest artist-in-residence fuse* and their generative AI project, Unseen Flora, along with a dedicated exhibition during London Frieze week on October 11th.
  • Airdroped 333 CryptoPatagonian minting appointments to CryptoCitizen holders.
  • Hosted Cory Haber in NYC for his latest drop, Apophenies, which combines generative code, plotters, and oil painting.
  • Hosted Dreamforum UK on October 12th in London, an extension of our ongoing efforts into generative AI in collaboration with Deforum and Huemin. Dreamforum UK will feature the second drop we've done with Ira Greenberg, for his new project Materia Moda.

In November we:

  • Hosted Bright Moments Buenos Aires from November 2-5, featured over a dozen local artists and an 8-hour theatrical minting performance.
  • Traveled to Patagonia with 0xDEAFBEEF to create an onchain, offline experience in a stark mountain landscape.
  • Onboarded several hundred new CryptoPatagonians through our local community nominations.
  • Hosted workshops and panels featuring speakers from Art Blocks, POAP, Le Random, fxhash, Fabric, Highlight, and others to share their visions for the future.
  • Released the fourth edition of our Quarterly, featuring a deep dive on the projects in the Buenos Aires Collection and a behind the scenes interview with 0xDEAFBEEF.
  • Plan to begin preparation for Paris, Venice, and several great projects to activate our global network.

Asks:

Hi! Welcome to Bright Moments

CryptoCitizens & Bright Moments Community – Places are powerful things. Our first sandy gallery under the Venice sign. The white walls and cobblestone streets of 150 Wooster Street. Kraftwerk's monumental canvas. The trip to Spongenuity's studio that led to our summer between Soho and Mayfair. The hospitality of Prim's artistic playground. The pristine PARCO building and the subdued garden of the Asakura residence. The decayed grandeur of the Palacio Guerrico and the windswept beauty of the...

CryptoCitizens & Bright Moments Community – Our project was designed for completion. Three years, ten cities, and ten thousand on-chain CryptoCitizens. That's what we are focused on accomplishing. Everything else — the market, the price, the hype — is just noise. We don't expect everyone to get it, but the ones who do understand the importance of what we've set out to achieve. Good thing too, because we can't do it alone. Thanks to everyone who has been part of our journey. Onto Buenos Aires....

CryptoCitizens & Bright Moments Community – Bright Moments is global. Although we were born in Venice Beach, most of our community today is outside of the United States. Our team has grown too. We're proud to have international contributors who bring a diverse perspective and help us see the bigger picture. As we head into the final leg of our journey around the world, patterns begin to emerge. People are the same everywhere; they want health, happiness, and the opportunity to contribute to...
